Scedosporium and Lomentospora species rank second among the filamentous fungi colonizing the airways of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients. These fungi could be responsible for allergic bronchopulmonary mycosis (ABPM) and bronchitis before lung transplantation and invasive infections after.
