Patient Research Partnership

The patient partnership in research is an innovative approach that aims to integrate the perspectives and experiences of patients into the different aspects of health research. This approach is for researchers to conduct research "WITH" patients as research actors, and only "ABOUT" patients. This approach recognizes the value of the patient perspective and improves the quality, relevance and effectiveness of research.

At the RESHAPE laboratory, we work to support researchers towards patient partnership via 2 axes.

Writing a white paper: A real guide for researchers and patients to build a research partnership
The creation of a participatory research group involving health professionals and patients.
It is for, among other things, this last mission that Laurie PANSE was called upon. She will introduce you to participatory research, the means put in place to carry it out and will testify to the first exchanges that she will be able to have with the members of the laboratory on this approach.
