Research axis

Title of thesis : Study of the mechanisms that underlie the effectiveness of the safety plan in preventing suicidal behaviour.

Year of registration: Janvier 2024

Co-directors: Prof. C. Colin & Dr E. Leaune

Thesis Summary :

Brief interventions have been proven effective in preventing suicidal behaviour, particularly through the implementation of safety plans. Although effective, their mechanisms need to be explored to understand them better. This thesis project aims to study the underlying mechanisms of brief interventions, specifically one intervention: the safety plan.
