Despite recent legislative and regulatory advances in favor of the inclusion of people with disabilities, the discrimination and inequalities to which they are subjected persist in all areas of social participation, and particularly in the school environment. Research in the field of social sciences and humanities shows that teachers' attitudes towards inclusion are not always favorable, and vary according to the disability of the pupils concerned. Many other factors relating to students' individual characteristics also seem to impact on their judgments. The aim of my thesis is to measure teachers' judgments (stereotypes, prejudices, etc.) about students with disability, while understanding the lived experiences and self-judgments of these students in the school environment. In other words, disability will always be considered in its interaction with other factors of inequality, notably gender and social class, in order to account for their multiplicative and not simply additional effects.
