Currently an Associate Professor in Social and Health Psychology, Myriam Pananrd conducts research aimed at developing a comprehensive understanding of lived experience in the field of health. Her work focuses both on the everyday lives of patients and on those around them (healthcare professionals, relatives, etc.).
Anchored in a critical approach, this research seeks to question—and help transform—the power dynamics that shape different spheres of health.
Following her doctoral work, which explored the lived experience of patients and healthcare professionals facing therapeutic innovations in oncogenetics, she is now involved in multiple research projects. These projects aim to better understand changes in the quality of life of people affected by cancer, and to promote their civic engagement through community-based research approaches.
