Mathilde Perray is a postdoctoral researcher in social psychology. Her research focuses on psychosocial issues in the health of vulnerable populations, such as social identity, empowerment and experiences of stigmatisation. She defended her thesis in psychology in May 2023 under the supervision of Marie Préau at the University of Lyon 2. Her thesis focused on psychosocial issues within the Malian community programme Gundo-So, which aims to empower women living with HIV on the issue of whether or not to disclose their HIV status. She is currently working on the Tagg Picc project, which aims to adapt the Gundo-So programme for young adults living with HIV in Senegal, and on the RURAL community research project on well-being in agricultural contexts.
