Research in Adapted Physical Activity for health, specialized in neurodevelopmental disorders, with a particular focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Currently, Amandine Bourhis is collaborating with Marie-Maude Geoffray on a project conducted in partnership with AFG Autisme, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of a “Sport and Autism” program. This initiative aims to promote the inclusion of autistic individuals within mainstream sports clubs by adapting practices and supporting field professionals in developing inclusive approaches.
The data collection phase of an exploratory study has been completed, and data analysis is currently underway. In parallel, a scoping review on adapted physical activity practices promoting inclusion within mainstream sports settings is also in progress.
