Yvan THOREY holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology, and Health Psychology (PCPPS) from Université Lumière Lyon 2. He works as a Research Engineer at the Research on Healthcare Performance (RESHAPE) laboratory, Inserm U1290, affiliated with Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
A central focus of his research is social inequalities in health and the impact of social determinants on population well-being. In this context, he is involved in projects such as the VESPA3 study, which assesses the quality of life of people living with HIV, and the Particip’malin project, which aims to include residents of underprivileged neighborhoods in research.
His training in clinical and health psychology enables him to analyze and interpret data while integrating psychological and social dimensions, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, and placing community participation at the heart of the research process.
